«It was the best Footbike World Championship ever organized!» with this words Thijza Brouwer, the chief of the IKSA, International Kicksled and scooter Association, sealed the success of the event, that took place in Ivrea and Strambino area, in the last days.

It's just the 4th edition of the FWC, but the italian organization represented by the AVIS Sport Group, has collected a lot of agreements: by the athletes, by the local bodies and from all those who followed the event that is able to link fun and competitive spirit.

Final results confirms the dutch dominion: 8 gold medals, 9 silver, and 8 bronze, a total of 25 podiums, better than Czech Repubblic that obtained a total of 23: 6 gold, 9 silver, 8 bronze, but preceded by Finland that won less medals in total but obtained more victories with 7 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze.

In the evening a big party in Ottinetti square that was full of athletes, organizers and people enjoing the international event with music a good drink...

During the 3 days of the event the GS AVIS organization involved more than 180 volunteers that allowed the success of the FWC, and more than 200 athletes, considering all the children that took part to the race as well.
